NearStrangers-FilmStill01

Near Strangers is a site-specific dance piece exploring a meeting between two women who once knew each other but don’t know each other anymore. The score is built live from the sounds of the performers’ movements, painting the convergence of past and present over everything we see. Embedded in and yet oblivious to an audience, the performers will unravel the past, making the forgotten unforgotten as they struggle to find their feet in the present and face what gets left over from before.

A film version of Near Strangers is currently seeking premiere.
